At last, a few automnal colours seem to appear in the garden…

The polygonium is in full bloom. And the old dog appreciates the heat.

  There are still some quinces on the tree, although I have made 30 pots of jam…                                                      The birds will have plenty of food this winter.          And the colours of the flowers are stunning.
