A night on the Orient Express by Veronica Henry

When I started reading it, I thought it was  a book of short stories, as there were so many different characters involved!

But when they all got on board the train, it made sense! They were all heading for Venice, even if their purposes were different, although love was at the origin of their trip.

The leading story is the one of Adele and her affair with Jack Molloy, that had lead them to Venice, fifty years ago. And Imogen, her granddaughter is going to Italy to fetch a painting at Jack Molloy's.

The trip and the meeting with this man will allow her to understand what she would do with her life.

But around that main stream, there are a lot of little brooks running.

Time to enjoy a wonderful journey in a mythic train, to the most fascinating city in the world!
