Colette is one of my favourite writers. And one of my favourite women...
Among her books, Chéri is the one I have read the most!

But this time, it's pure magic! beauty, refinement, everything to make you believe  that living at the Belle Epoque was the absolute perfection!
The costumes, elegant, with magnificent colours, and worn by Michelle Pfeiffer, are wonderful.
The scenery, those hotels, and restaurants, trains, those appartements and chateaux, have been chosen carefully.
The music is perfect.
And the actors are excellent and handsome...
The young actor who plays the part of Chéri has this insolent charm described by Colette.
