Rue de Douai
Lovely weather in Paris yesterday. Ideal for a little walk in the streets. As usual, many doors and imposts to see.
And in the middle of this street, a little square, with just one tree, and this enormous house that looks like a theatre. And it used to be Georges Bizet's house, which justifies the name of the café near by, the Carmen.
And inside, it's even more dramatic, marble columns, balcony, sculptures... even the concierge seems to be living like a king in his little kingdom.
Next street, the former studio of Marcel Duchamp is now an art school, and even Marie Antoinette is imprisoned here...
After the little walk, a stop on a bench, and an old neighbour who probably can't afford the somptuous houses of these streets.
